Jacuzzi® J408L™ Features

Infrared and Red Light Therapy, built in

The J408L™ carries two IR + Red Light Therapy lights, positioned in Seat C right where your lower back needs it most.

Infrared works beneath the surface, targeting deep tissue to ease muscle tension, reduce inflammation, and speed recovery. Activated from the control panel in 20-minute sessions. No extra step. No extra cost. It comes with the spa.

Six seats. Every one has a job.

Seat A carries the heaviest load: two NX2 jets, two RX jets, two large rotational FX jets, two FX rotational jets, and six FX jets targeting the full back. Seat B focuses four RX jets on the lower back. Seat C adds seven FX jets, two NX2 jets, and the IR therapy lights. Seat D delivers rotational shoulder relief. Seat E provides large rotational jets for hips and legs. Seat F finishes with NX2 neck jets. Footwell G adds two MX jets for the feet.

Thirty-nine jets. No filler seats.

Water that works as hard as the jets

The J408L™ is built with True Water® nanobubble technology: trillions of oxygen-filled nanobubbles continuously purifying the water without bromine, without salt, and with next to no chlorine. Water that looks, feels, and smells cleaner. Maintenance down to around 15 minutes a month.

The filtration system pairs a ProClarity® 40 ft² filter cartridge with a depth load filter on the 8-hour circulation pump, a ProCatch® bag with ProClear® 60 ft² filter, and the True Water® system working behind the scenes.

One waterfall. Adjustable, lit, and worth sitting under.

The J408L™ has a single waterfall with independent flow control — open or off, powered by the circulation pump. Let it run as background sound, or adjust the flow for a neck-and-shoulder sensation while the jets do the rest.

PowerPro® Jets

The J408L™ runs 39 PowerPro® jets across six types: FX, FX Rotational, FX Large Rotational, NX2, MX, and RX. Each type placed deliberately in the seat position that matches its action.

Patented 360° air induction and Aqualibrium® system deliver the right air-to-water mix — powerful without being harsh.

SmartTub® - Your Spa in Your Pocket

The SmartTub® system connects over Wi-Fi or cellular, so you can control and monitor any model from the J-4™ Collection from anywhere. Set the temperature before you get home. Track your hydromassage and IR therapy sessions against your wellness goals. Schedule heating times to cut energy use by around 20%.

Up to five user profiles. Curated Jacuzzi® soundscapes — Ocean Waves, Forest Sounds, Rain Falling, White Noise. Modes that activate on a single tap: Infrared Therapy, Sleep Well, and more.

Touchscreen Control

A waterproof full-colour glass touchscreen, recessed into the spa shell. Programmes heat modes, filtration cycles, IR therapy, lighting, and locks — all from the water. Three heating modes: Auto (constant), Day (7am–5pm), Economy (5pm–7am).

Low maintenance cabinetry, high impact.

Three cabinet finishes: Modern Hardwood, Brushed Gray, Smoked Ebony. Synthetic construction that wipes clean and won't warp or fade. Corner exterior lights come standard — white only, two brightness settings, auto-off after 8 hours or set to activate from 7pm to midnight.

J-500 spas are warranted against water loss due to defects in the spa shell for ten years from the original date of purchase.

7 Year Warranty

7 Years Shell Surface

J-500 spas are warranted against blistering, cracking, or delaminating of the interior surface of the spa shell for seven years from the original date of purchase.

5 Year Warranty

5 Years Equipment and Controls

J-500 electrical equipment components – specifically limited to the pumps, heater, and control system - are warranted against malfunctions due to defects in workmanship or materials for five years from the original date of purchase.

J-500 spas’ CurvaLux™ cabinets are warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for five years from the original date of purchase. Normal wear and weathering of the finish will occur naturally over time, and are not defects. The CurvaLux™ cabinet mounting hardware is warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for two years from the original date of purchase.

Spa Pool Safety

We make and sell spas, so we take water safety seriously. Under the Building Act 2004, every spa pool that holds 40cm or more of water needs a barrier that keeps unsupervised children under 5 out. Most spa pools can use a compliant lockable cover, while larger spas need a fence. Plan your barrier before your spa arrives.

WARNING: CHILDREN MAY DROWN IN THIS POOL.

To keep your family safe and prevent drowning, this pool requires a barrier, such as a:

  • Fence or barrier to surround the entire pool, such as a 1.2m high fence; or
  • Safety Cover that covers the pool. A safety cover may ONLY be used if the top surface of every pool wall is at least 760mm above the ground AND the walls of the pool inhibit climbing (e.g. there are no fixed objects or projections or a side-mounted pump).

The barrier must comply with the Building Code and restrict unsupervised access by children under 5 years of age.
