Spa pools come in a range of prices to suit different budgets and preferences, typically starting from around $5,000 and going up to $37,000 or more for premium models. The cost reflects factors such as size, quality, hydrotherapy features, insulation, and added luxuries like LED lighting and advanced filtration systems.

While there are installation considerations—such as preparing a foundation and electrical setup—these are one-time investments that help ensure your spa is perfectly positioned for long-term enjoyment. With the right spa, you can create a personal oasis, adding value to your home and enhancing your relaxation and well-being for years to come

Thanks to advancements in energy-efficient technology, running a modern spa pool is more affordable than many people expect. A well-insulated, high-quality spa can cost as little as $30 per month to operate, and this can be even lower with the addition of an energy-efficient heat pump.

With smart energy-saving features and proper usage, you can enjoy the benefits of hydrotherapy and relaxation without worrying about high electricity bills.

Spa technology has come a long way in recent years, making spas cheaper to run and easier to maintain. SpaNet® SV series and Ecocube™ heat pumps keep your spa warm for less, year-round.

Heat pumps are the most energy-efficient way to heat a spa, using refrigeration technology to warm water faster while consuming less energy than built-in electric heaters.

Installing a SpaNet® SV series or Ecocube™ heat pump could cut heating costs by up to 75%, saving thousands over your spa’s lifetime.

Want to know more about spa heat pumps? Check out our detailed guide.

The SpaNet™ Eco-Cube™ heat pump is a compact, cost-effective heating solution for small- to medium-sized spa pools. It is easy to install and uses eco-friendly refrigerant in the cooling cycle.

To heat it works by using a small amount of electrical power to capture heat from the air and transfer it into the water, which can reduce heating costs by up to 75%. It reverses this cycle when cooling.

A portable spa, also known as a hot tub, above ground, Jacuzzi® or freestanding spa, can be installed into a deck or pit in the ground. Key components such as pumps, heaters, and control systems are contained within the cabinet.

Although both inflatable spas and portable spas are essentially tubs full of heated water and can be moved around, one of the basic differences between the two is that a blow-up spa can be deflated, packed up and stored away. A portable spa has a hard shell and is typically fixed in place.

Yes. We offer plug-and-play spa models that can run on either a 10A or 15A power supply (depending on the spa model). To confirm which option applies to the spa you’re considering, check the tech pack or the specifications section on the spa’s product page on the Spa World website.

If your spa requires more than 15 amps, it will need to be hard-wired by a licensed electrician.

A plug and play spa is a spa pool designed to run from a standard power outlet, instead of being hard-wired. In most cases, that means it can be plugged into a suitable 10A or 15A outlet (depending on the model) and does not require a permanent electrical connection.

A 10A spa is designed to run on a standard household outlet. A 15A spa uses a higher-rated outlet (with a larger earth pin) and may support higher power demand than a 10A model. The right option depends on the spa’s specifications and your existing electrical setup.

The easiest way is to check the tech pack or the specifications section on the spa’s product page on the Spa World website. This will list the electrical requirements (including amperage) for that model.
