Not all Fisher™ Spa models are equipped with a two-filter system. If you're unsure whether your model has this feature, here’s a list of the models that do.
To properly fill your spa with two filters, simply follow the steps below.
Important reminder: Make sure the spa is turned off before starting the filling process
Start by unscrewing the filter face. Make sure to place the fittings in a safe spot where they won’t get lost during the filling process.
After unscrewing the filter face, gently pull it upward.
Next, take out the leaf catcher. This step allows you to access the filters underneath.
Remove one of the two filters by turning it counterclockwise. This is the filter that you’ll use to insert the hose later in the process.
With the filter removed, insert the end of your hose directly into the filter pipe. This method ensures the water flows directly into the system, reducing the chance of air bubbles forming and causing circulation issues later on.
Turn on the water and begin filling the spa pool. Keep an eye on the water level as it rises. You want to make sure that the water reaches the fill line marked inside the spa pool. Filling beyond this line can lead to overflow, while underfilling can cause the spa’s pumps to run dry, which can damage the equipment.
Once the spa pool is filled to the correct level, remove the hose, and screw the filter back into place by turning it clockwise. Be sure to also replace the leaf catcher and screw the fittings back in to secure the filters.
